After seeing a gameplay, I just loved it. The mechanics are just amazing; the customers, the co-op, the shop, etc. Of course, the game is better playing it with friends, but playing in single-player it's also entertaining. Bought the game today it is really fun it is like overcooked except the stages are normal. It is a very fun game I would recommend this to people if they like cooking games like overcooked. The game can be fast pased at times and you have to know your customers since some of them get more impatient then others and I really recommend hiring a waitress/waiter when its available. So far the game is really good the only thing that the game is lacking is online multiplayer. The game aready has local couch coop which is really nice but this game really needs online mulitplayer to play with other players since some people have this game but have no one to play coop with them so it would really need a online multiplayer and I hope the developers add this. A very fun game. What I like about it is that for the campaign, you only have to get perfect 5 stars for a few times and you mostly only need to get 4 stars for each day. So you don't have to be perfect about this and can move on to the next one unlike some other games. This game actually keeps updating with new campaigns and challenges so it is really worth the money.(Sorry for describing it not specific enough because I don't want to give spoilers). Love the game so much. Just wish it was also available on Mac.. It's like a more realistic overcooked to some degree. It is VERY hard with 2 people though, so there might need to be some balancing but overall it's quite good.. Wife and me played through the campaign, and we enjoyed every stressful second of it. Sure it kinda reminds you of Overcooked, but like others already said, the customer interaction makes it a completely different animal even though they share a theme. One small complaint is that we had it freeze on us twice. I don't know if it is because we play it via a Steam Link or what is up since I haven't read about anybody else sharing our problem. Nevertheless, we now look forward to triple star all the challenges and getting every last one of the achievements! Also endless mode.. I really enjoyed this game! My sister and I are addicted! The only unpleasant thing about it was the controls. We are using controllers for this game and still a lot of bugs to resolve. But all in all the concept of the game is great and we enjoyed it just hoping the controls will be better eventually when there's an update for this game.. It felt like there was a long drought of local multiplayer experiences with the removal of split-screen mode from AAA games but in recent years there has been a resurgence of local co-op games. My goal with Diner Bros is to recreate that enjoyable social experience I've had sitting side-by-side with my friends.I’m always on the lookout for co-op games to play but many of them are too complex for my non-gamer friends. My main goal has been to balance the gameplay so that it can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels. If you and your partner are competitive and want to maximize your profits, you can do exactly that. Plan out what food will be ordered and prepare the food in advance to earn the most tips. The game will ramp up the difficulty quickly if you choose to play this way. Alternatively, if your partner is more of a casual player, the game will not punish you for it. I’ve found during play testing that the casual player can stick to bussing tables which is a role that only requires good communication.
